KEESO & SONS LTD. FOREST MANAGEMENT (FM) certification involves an inspection of your woodlot by an independent FSC accredited certifier, RAINFOREST ALLIANCE, CANADA, and upon forest compliance with the FSC Great Lakes St. Lawrence Region standards, it is issued a certificate.  Your forests would be certified against a set of strict environmental and social standards, based on FSC's ten principles for responsible forest management, which apply to all FSC-certified forests in the world.

Sawmill Chain of Custody (CoC) certification (Certificate Registration: SW-COC-004218), involves the tracking of FSC-certified fibre from the forest to the consumer and includes all successive stages of processing and transformation.  The FSC label therefore guarantees that the products we produce at J.H. Keeso & Sons Ltd. can be tracked back to an approved FSC source ensuring the consumer of responsible forest management.  The end result is your product in the marketplace carrying the logo.
